McCarthy Builders used a combination of SkudoBoard Interlock and Skudo All-Terrain Mat over TPO Roofing on a new (replacement) hospital building in Northern California.
SkudoBoard Interlock was used to protect the roofing surface from damage from ladders, tools, and construction materials while Skudo All-Terrain Mat provided a safe, high-visibility walkway for workers while the job was underway.
The new, five-story, 260,000-square-foot acute care hospital building houses 114 private patient rooms; an expanded emergency department and trauma center with separate entrances and treatment areas for trauma, psychiatric and high-security patients; and six operating rooms, three of which are equipped with state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology equipment.
